How AIInsider Optimized Robots.txt for LD Estates — A Strategic AEO Upgrade
At AIInsider, we’re not just automating marketing — we’re preparing businesses for the future of AI-powered discovery.
One recent example: we optimized the robots.txt
file for our client LD Estates, a real estate development firm in Tbilisi, Georgia, to align with both traditional SEO and emerging AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) best practices.
🧩 The Problem:
Most websites neglect their robots.txt
— either leaving it too restrictive or completely open, causing missed indexing opportunities or crawl budget waste. Worse, AI crawlers like ChatGPT and Claude can’t index your site unless explicitly allowed.
🛠 The Solution We Implemented for LD Estates:
✅ 1. Whitelisted AI Crawlers
We added permissions for key AI agents:
GPTBot
(ChatGPT / OpenAI)ClaudeBot
(Anthropic)PerplexityBot
(Perplexity AI)CCBot
(Common Crawl)
🧠 This ensures LD Estates appears not only in Google but also in AI-powered answers.
✅ 2. Cleaned and Consolidated Bot Rules
We:
- Removed duplicate
User-agent: *
blocks - Allowed necessary admin AJAX functionality
- Blocked only irrelevant plugin files (e.g., auto-generated JSON)
🎯 This avoids accidental SEO blocks and makes crawler paths more efficient.
✅ 3. Declared a Clean Sitemap
We declared:
arduinoCopyEditSitemap: https://ldestates.ge/sitemap_index.xml
This allows Google and AI crawlers to access the full site structure, including project pages, blog posts, and investor content.
📈 Why It Matters
Most sites optimize for Google. Fewer think about AI engines.
But visibility in ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity is the next frontier of organic reach — especially for industries like real estate and e-commerce.

We’ll publish a screen-recorded tutorial walking through the whole process — from sitemap validation to robots.txt cleanup.
